            Striped (Painted Serpent)

                                                 - heirloom from Armenia in the 1400's

                   - 12" to 18" fruit is sweet and crispy with thin skin but dense flesh

                   - very few seeds with a good fresh flavor good to eat straight out of the garden

​

            Blonde Cucumber        

​

                                                 - unique, cream colored yellow cucumbers, best when 4" long

                   - crisp, sweet, cucumbers good to eat fresh, with vinegar or lemon juice, in salads or sandwiches

                   - good to use as bread & butter pickles

​

      Pickling

​

            National Pickling

           

                                                 - high yielding, early fruiting, vigorous vines

                    - dark green fruit that can picked small or large

                                           

           Homemade Pickles          

                                                - produces small, green, crisp cucumbers, 5-6" long

                   - high yielding with crisp, sweet flavor great for pickling, but can also be eaten fresh

      Specialty

​

                                    Cucumber Lemon          

                              - produces a yellow round fruit which resembles a lemon although has the classic flavor and                         sweetness of a cucumber

​

            Poona Kheera             

                                     - very different cucumber with light yellow skin early on, then maturing into a rosy color

                    - fruit is sweet and crisp, best harvested just as the color begins to change
